India Lockdown, an upcoming new web series which is directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. A web series that is inspired by true events. This story is based on a true event that happened when a breathtaking virus hit the world with its killing antigen. If moving ahead to the star cast then Shweta Basu Prasad, Sai Tamhankar, and Prateik Babbar. These three stars are featured in this real-life event for everyone. The real-life based drama is written by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah. Inspired by true events, 'India Lockdown' depicts four parallel stories and the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic on the people of India.
In the trailer, different lives of the people are shown, exactly which happened during the time of lockdown when everything was shut down due to this life-killing antigen. The virus which came silently has left everyone stuck at their homes.
In covid-19 pandemic when the PM of the country has announced abruptly the first-ever lockdown in the country. The word ‘lockdown’ was never heard by the Indians before the event. The series has shown how people walk miles of distance or die because of starvation.

This upcoming series is going to stream on the OTT platform that is ZEE5. The series is about the different life stories during the pandemic, and what problems they have faced during this harsh time. In the trailer, makers have shown exactly what people have gone through during this pandemic, two years back when everything suddenly changed. The trailer life of those labourers who used to go and live in other states for their survival will also seem. Moreover, the life of sex workers in the web series is depicted. During this time people did not even have food at one time.
