Ludhiana Central MLA Ashok Parashar Pappi on Thursday gave two months of ultimatum to the officials of Municipal Corporation, PSPCL, and contractor to complete the project of covering the Buddha Nullah stretch passing from his constituency.

Expressing displeasure over undue delay in completion of the work, MLA took stock of the situation in Dharampura Mohalla near Shingar Cinema and held on-ground meeting with the officials of MC, PSPCL, and the contractor. 

He said that people were facing hardships due to inordinate delay in the completion of the project which he would not allow to happen. He asked the officials that he will sit here daily to supervise the on-going work after one week.

He also spoke to senior officials of PSPCL to depute another team at the site and ensure the transfer of electric poles from both sides of the road expeditiously so that the contractor can build the road there.

MLA said that the people of these areas had given him overwhelming support in the assembly elections and now it is his duty to deliver the promises made to them timely. He also asked the people of the areas to contact him in case of any problem they face. 

He also said that the heaps of garbage would be disappeared within a month.The MLA said that people have shown faith in the policies and vision of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and that is why, he would ensure holistic development of his constituency.
