The District Employment & Counselling Centre Udhampur today organized a one-day Job Fair/Awareness Programme in the office premises. Different companies like RVS Informatics IT Pvt. Ltd, Hotel Industries Katra, M/S Rajshree Motors Pvt. Ltd, LIC of India, SBI Life, Shri Ram General Insurance Co. Ltd. M/S Star Health & Allied Insurance Co Ltd. participated in the job fair organised to provide a common platform to job seekers and job providers (private sector).
Over 200 un-employed youth from different corners of district Udhampur participated in the Job Fair.Deputy Director Employment, Anshuman Singh, impressed upon the youth to avail the opportunity of Job Fair & reap the benefit of the different self-employment schemes run by the different departments.
He said that the Employment Department has been organizing such fairs quarterly. He said that on spot registration of un-employed youth on JK Employment & NCS Portal was also being done.
