n continuity of Fourth phase of Back to Village programme, Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC) Baramulla, Safina Beigh today participated in the Back to Village programme in Panchayat halqa Daulatpora of Wagoora block wherein all the district and sectoral Officers were present. 

DDC chairperson held Gram Sabha in the panchayat and highlighted transparent service delivery mechanism of LG administration. The Gram Sabha continued with the decentralized exercise of planning and a shelf of projects was taken into consideration for further execution at grass roots level.

“Gram sabha is the supreme body whose authenticity and veracity cannot be challenged or impeached anywhere” remarked Chairperson DDC. She called for restoring utmost caution and sincerity by PRIs and line departments.

Safeena Beigh called for time bound and qualitative works which have been tendered in different Panchayats.
