GDC Ramgarh hosts debate competition on ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’

Government Degree College Ramgarh today organised a debate competition under the banner of ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’.As many as 7 students participated in the debate competition.The event was organised by Department of Education, in collaboration with National Service Scheme unit ‘Prabha’ and Women Development Cell. 

The competition was organized under the supervision of Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Satinder Kaur.Speaking on the occasion, the Principal stressed on the need to spread mass awareness about the Nasha Mukt Bharat to weed out menace of drugs from the society. 

She said that the youth can be very effective in taking active part in making our society free from this evil.The event was compeered by Tamana Attri of BA Semester-I.The first position was secured by Sneha Salotra, second position was bagged by Arushi Sharma and third position was secured by Gayatri Devi. 

Trophies were also distributed among winners.The event was judged by Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Dr. Shamsher Lal and Prof. Risha Kumari.Prof. Seema Sharma was the organizing secretary of the event. The organizing committee included Dr. Aditi Khajuria, Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Dr. Shamsher Lal, and Prof. Risha Kumari. Faculty members and large number of students attended the event.
