A recent update has been added on Sidhu Moosewala’s murder case. His close aid and Punjabi singer, Afsana Khan, has been summoned by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The team has called her in an ongoing investigation into criminal-gangster terror syndicates. Moreover, if reports are to be believed, Khan was being questioned about her connections to the Bambiha gang, which is the Bishnoi gang's bitter foe.
It is claimed that the rival gang planned Moose Wala's murder because they thought he was affiliated with the Bambiha gang. Khan has been reportedly questioned about her connections to the Bambiha gang and its members, including Lucky Gaurav Patial and Sukhpreet Singh Budha, who reside in Armenia.

“Khan has also been going abroad for shows and we have found some international linkages which are under probe. The funds are also being probed,” a source said. Khan is the target of an investigation that is a part of the NIA's broader campaign against organised crime and criminals. However, the NIA is cooperating with the Delhi Police in their probe into the Bishnoi and Lawrence gangs.
About NIA Crackdown
The NIA has filed over six cases against multiple wanted gang members, including Bishnoi, Bambiha, and Rinda gang members. As a result, numerous sites have been searched across the nation. The agency searched over 52 places across four states last week. The NIA also searched 50 places on September 12.
The source claimed, “These raids and arrests are targeted at dismantling the organised crime sector with a focus on top gangsters, their businesses, and associates in Punjab, Haryana, UP, and Rajasthan. The aim is to target their syndicates and networks.”
“It is an effort to dismantle these transnational terror and crime networks,” they said.
“During the investigation, it has been found that these gangsters, despite being lodged inside jails in different states, have been in touch through phones and have been operating freely from the inside,” the source concluded.
