District Ludhiana stood as the flag bearer in the state-level basketball competitions of under-21 boys/girls of 'Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan -2022' organized by the Sports Department Punjab.Ludhiana beat Sangrur in today's girls' match while Jalandhar faced defeat in the boys' match.

While sharing the details of the results, District Sports Officer Mr Ravinder Singh said that Ludhiana defeated Sangrur with a margin of 36-21 in the girls' competition. For third place, Kapurthala defeated Pathankot by a margin of 37-10.

Apart from this, in the boy's competition, Ludhiana defeated Jalandhar by a margin of 58-38, while the third-placed Faridkot team won against Mansa by a margin of 72-65.District Sports Officer Mr Ravinder Singh further said that a very laudable initiative has been taken by the Punjab government by starting the 'Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan-2022'.  

On this occasion, General Secretary of Punjab Basketball Academy (PBA) Mr Teja Singh Dhaliwal, Mr Sanjeev Sharma from the Sports Department, PBA Vice President Mr Vijay Chopra, International Coach Ms Saloni, Mr Virpal Singh Dhillon, Mr Sukhwinder Singh, Mr Ravinder Singh Gill and Mr Narendra Pal were also present.
