The match is scheduled to be held on October 23 in Melbourne. Just now, a piece of heartbreaking news has been making the headlines.

It has been reported that the rainy weather in Melbourne may ruin the intense mood of the Sunday T20 World Cup encounter between India and Pakistan. Thanks to a weather update from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, the highly anticipated clash may end up being bathed in cold water rather than sparked.

The Australian Government's Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) reports that there is still an 80% chance of showers on Sunday, mostly in the evening. Cloudy. High (80%) chance of showers, most likely in the evening. Winds southerly 15 to 25 km/h turning southeasterly during the evening," suggests the website of BOM.

Friday's Forecast as per BOM: "Partly cloudy. Very high (95%) chance of showers, most likely in the afternoon and evening. The chance of a thunderstorm. Light winds."

Saturday's Forecast as per BOM: "Cloudy. Very high (95%) chance of showers, most likely in the morning and afternoon. The chance of a thunderstorm in the morning and afternoon. Light winds becoming southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h during the morning then tending southerly 15 to 20 km/h during the afternoon."

The two Asian giants have played each other twice already this year in the Asia Cup 2022. And now fans are praying for the match to be held and not washed out. In Brisbane, the last warm-up games for India and Pakistan against New Zealand and Afghanistan, respectively, were also postponed.
