Youth of district Ramban are enthusiastically participating in Special Summary Revision 2022 process to get registered on electoral rolls besides sensitizing the eligible voters about the offline and online registration process.

In this regard, a day-long awareness programme under SVEEP was held at Government Higher Secondary School, Khari wherein the Principal, teaching faculty, students of School, PRIs, general public particularly youth of the area participated.  

Speaking on the occasion, the Principal urged upon the eligible voters who have attained the age of 18 years on 1st October 2022 to register themselves as voters in the ongoing Special Summary Revision. He also dwelt in detail about the importance of vote in the democratic process.

 During the awareness programme, the students presented different activities including speeches, skits, songs, nuked nataks and cultural items based on the registration of newly eligible voters and their participation in the electoral process.

 The pledge was also administered to participants to register themselves as a voter in Electoral Rolls during the SSR, besides educating  them about the online portal for registration of voters’ on the National Voters Service Portal (NVSP) and Mobile Voter Helpline App.

Meanwhile, District Election Officer along with the Electoral Registration Officer & Deputy District Election Officer conducted super checking of 20 polling stations of AC-54-Ramban each with highest additions & deletions under SSR-2022.
