NSS Unit-2 and Department of Food Science and Technology of Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Govt. PG College for Women Gandhinagar  organised a one day “Awareness Programme on EXTINCTION CONVERSATIONS”  under the patronage of the College Principal, Prof. Minu Mahajan.

 Dr. Anuradha Gandotra, HOD Food Science, formally welcomed the Principal Prof. Minu Mahajan and Er Navjeev Digra along with the team members and august gathering. Navjeev Digra, Director Climate Front Foundation Jammu, shed light on one of the burning issues of present time “EXTINCTION CONVERSATIONS” and also made the students aware about the climate change which is resulting into many natural disasters.

A total of 65 NSS Volunteers and students attended this event.Prof. Minu Mahajan congratulated Dr. Anuradha Gandotra and staff and NSS programme officer UNIT-2 Dr. Monika Hans for organising the event and also motivated the students to participate in such events in the future also. 

The organising Committee consisted of Dr. Anuradha Gandotra (HOD Food Science), Dr. Shalini Sharma, Dr. Monika Hans, Dr. Jasmeet Kour, Dr. Harleen Kour.Vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Monika Hans NSS Programme Officer Unit-2.
