The DLIC under Mumkin schemes was held today at DC Office, here under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Basharat Qayoom.Regarding the Mumkin scheme, Asstt Director Employment, Anantnag informed the meeting that 159 cases were approved  till date under the scheme and a further 27 cases have been placed for sanction of the committee. 

After thorough deliberation, all these cases were approved. The DC directed the officials present to ensure that there is wide dissemination of information regarding the benefits of the scheme. He said that the scheme is to provide the employment opportunities to the youths and eligible beneficiaries should  receive the benefits.

Dr Basharat also took a strong note regarding some cases that have opted out of the schemes, he  directed the AD and LDM to inquire into the reasons behind those case. He said that a joint interaction shall  be held with the employees and applicants to prevent such drop out cases.The meeting was attended by ADDC,CPO, ARTO and District Nodal Officer EDI.
