A 29-year-old Khalistani supporter who is now the leader of Deep Sidhu’s organisation, ‘Waris Panjab De', is currently making his name in the headlines. Singh has been facing legal trouble. It has been reported that Amritpal Singh has made objectionable remarks about the Lord Jesus Christ.
So now, people from the Christian community have gathered and held a protest. The March took place at PAP Chowk in Jalandhar. If reports are to be believed, then, at present, the Christian community gathers under the flyover which is situated in front of PAP Gate. Now, the people are demanding justice and are against the objection remark.
Moreover, the Christian community also expressed their anger by saying that they would block the highways by taking the protest to the streets. They further added that when they do not oppose any religion, they will not stand for comments against their religion.

Who is Amritpal Singh?
Amritpal Singh is the new leader of ‘Waris Panjab De’. After the death of actor and founder of Waris Panjab De, aka Deep Sidhu, he takes on the role of leader. Much information regarding Singh has not been released, but if we believe some trusted news portals, then, according to them, Amritpal Singh has returned from Dubai. It is said that he is a resident of Amritsar. Amritpal is the youngest of the three children of Tarsem Singh and Balwinder Kaur. He calls himself a "disciple" of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.
Moreover, the self-styled preacher has been pursuing a war on social media against regional and national political parties, activists, and many more.
After returning from Dubai, Amritpal moved around the state for one month and met with the heads of many Sikh political and religious organisations and the Nihang bodies, seeking their support. The people and youth who have been following Deep Sidhu were asked to become baptised Sikhs.
