It was held under the supervision of SSP Rural Amritsar Gurpreet Singh Gill. Addressing to the Chemists, he says to end the drug menace, the cooperation of chemists is must. A few time ago, the police nabbed some medical professionals whose sold illegal medicines were caught red handed and Police got great success. He advised to chemists to sell these medicines chemist should prepare full record according to law and order. The campaign which is being run with the help of police Administration and Government could be fulfilled only with the cooperation of chemists. If chemist cooperates fully us, the number of drug peddlers could be come down. Chemists union President Amritsar Raj Kumar Sharma assured that no chemist will do such illegal work, those who do, will be self responsible for this.
