The Public Outreach programme as part of weekly Block Diwas was today conducted at Kanjiuller, Shopian.On the occasion, Additional District Development Commissioner, Shopian, Manzoor Hussain presided over the programme to listen to the public issues and grievances raised by PRIs, Public delegations and people.
The issues flagged-off by the visiting PRIs and public delegations include road connectivity, portable drinking water facility and uninterrupted power supply etc. The people while highlighting issues sought their immediate redressal.
The ADDC listened to the issues and demands of the public patiently and assured the early and prompt redressal of grievances of public importance.He instructed all District Officers present to remain sensitive to all the genuine issues and grievances registered by the public.
The officers of line departments, besides people in large numbers, participated in the Block Diwas.
