And now, days after he escaped from police custody in Punjab's Mansa, his alleged girlfriend was nabbed by a team of Punjab Police from Mumbai airport. Yes, you read that right. Deepak’s alleged girlfriend is said to be a police officer too.
And this news has been shared by the DGP Punjab Police. They took to the official Twitter account and wrote, “Major breakthrough in Deepak Tinu custody escape, #AGTF @PunjabPoliceInd arrested woman accomplice of Tinu from #MumbaiAirport in an intelligence-based ops. She was with criminal when he escaped & was on way to #Maldives when nabbed. Further #investigations to nab Tinu underway”
Yes, the girlfriend has been fleeing to the Maldives. The woman was reportedly taken into custody as part of an intelligence-based operation.

It is worth mentioning that the name of the girl is given as Jitender Kaur, she is a resident of Ludhiana. If sources are to be believed, Deepak Tinu's escape was already planned in Goindwal Sahib. On the other hand, after the absconding case of Deepak Tinu, various discussions were going on about the involvement of a 'girlfriend' in his escape. However, Deepak Tinu is still not in the custody of the police.

Deepak Tinu was allegedly released from Mansa Town's jail in Punjab after being charged in the Moosewala murder case. On October 1, Tinu fled while riding in a private vehicle without handcuffs or assistance from other security agents.
When Tinu, a native of Haryana's Bhiwani, was brought in on a production warrant from the Goindwal Sahib jail in the Tarn Taran area in connection with another case, he escaped. According to Punjab police, Tinu was transferred from Delhi's Tihar prison on July 4 in connection with the Moosewala murder.
