An awareness programme regarding the ongoing Special Summary Revision of the draft electoral rolls was today organised here at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Reasi under the Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Programme.
The event was coordinated by Incharge SVEEP, Narinder Kishore in association with the school administration.Deputy District Election Officer, Rakesh Kumar flagged off an awareness rally of the school students, which passed through the town.
A similar awareness programme was also organised by SDM Mahore, Mazahir Hussain Shah, (Electoral Registration Officer, Gulabgarh Constituency) in Govt. High Secondary School, Mahore. Local officers including Police officers, staff of the school and about 500 students attended the programme and gained knowledge about the whole process of the ongoing Special Summary revision of the Electoral rolls on the occasion.
