To create awareness among the general public about the ongoing Special Summary Revision of the draft Electoral rolls, vehicles for making announcement in three Assembly Constituencies of District Reasi were flagged off under Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme, here on Thursday.

The awareness SVEEP vans were flagged off  by Deputy Commissioner, Babila Rakwal, who is also District Election Officer  from the DC office complex, Reasi.Abdul Sattar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, CPO Sunita Kanchan, Sanjay Kumar Badyal, ACR,  Rakesh Kumar, Deputy District Election Officer, Rajesh Gupta, ARTO,  Rajinder Digra, District Information Officer and  others were also present on the occasion. 

 It was informed that the vehicles will cover the areas of the Assembly Constituencies and make announcements for the  information of the general public.  The DEO appealed to the general public, particularly women to enroll as voters in the ongoing Special Summary revision of the Electoral rolls.
