On the directions of District Election Officer (DEO), Kupwara, Doifode Sagar Dattatray, ADC Kupwara, Ghulam Nabi Bhat today convened a series of meetings with BLOs, Supervisors and other concerned officers of Kupwara, Lolab and Trehgam Assembly constituencies to review the progress of enrolment of new voters under Special Summary Revision (SSR) 2022.

The ADC reviewed BLO wise data and received feedback from the concerned BLOs.Addressing the meeting, the ADC asked all the BLOs to ensure completion of enrolment of voters within two days positively. He directed them to speed up the efforts of door to door visit of each household so that no voter is left unregistered. 

He said the main objective of holding these series of meetings is to ensure that all new voters get registered so that they can exercise their right to vote.Dy. DEO Kupwara, Mehraj-u-din Wani; ACR Kupwara, Jowhar Ali, besides, Election staff and other concerned were present in the meeting.
