DLIC approves 50 new cases under MUMKIN Scheme

To review the implementation of Mission youth schemes of MUMKIN, Tejaswini & Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative in the District, a meeting of District Level Implementation Committee(DLIC) was held today under the chairmanship of the District Development Commissioner(DDC), Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav here at New DC Office Complex.

At the outset, Nodal Officer (AD, Employment) & Employment Officer briefed the meeting about the current status of cases approved in the earlier DLIC meetings.During the meeting, several Mumkin, Tejaswini & SEI Scheme cases of unemployed eligible youth of the district were brought before the Committee for approval.

The DDC, after the review, approved 50 new cases under MUMKIN. Tejaswini cases were also discussed and directions were issued for further refining of the cases received under the Scheme.While as the applicants under SEI were interviewed and directions were issued for further refining, connecting the applicants to relevant Schemes of the Govt.

It is pertinent to mention here that  111 cases under MUMKIN, 12 cases under Tejaswini have been approved in District Kishtwar till date.Among others, the meeting was attended by GM DIC Dr Mohd Ashraf, District Social Welfare Officer Kishtwar Zubair Ahmed, AD Employment Kishtwar Amit Kumar, LDM Pankaj Kumar, Employment Officer and Representatives from ARTO, Cluster Head Office JKBank, JKEDI Kishtwar.
