The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Riyaz Ahmad Sofi today flagged- off five trucks carrying livestock and families of migratory tribal population.These trucks were flagged- off towards their destination viz. Rajouri from truck Terminal Chawalgam and were provided transport facility from Aharbal and D.H.Pora areas.

It was informed that the facility of transportation for these migratory people shall continue till 25th of October.District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Dr Mohd Rafiq informed that to facilitate a smooth and hassle free transportation to migratory families and their livestock, two registration counters have already been established, one each at DH Pora and Aharabal where these people are registering to get the facility of transportation and these registration counters have been established by District Sheep Husbandry organization Kulgam.

District Sheep Husbandry Officer Kulgam and ARTO Kulgam have been designated as nodal officers to ensure hassle free movement of the livestock and the families, he added.
