In Punjab, the news regarding gangsters comes on a daily basis. Whether it is Lawrence Bishnoi or the Bambiha gang. And now there is news that came in the news when Jaggu Bhagwanpuria was sent to judicial custody after demanding extortion from Doctor Ashok Mahajan. 

The court in Amritsar sent the Jaggu Gangster to judicial custody on Wednesday for 14 days. After the police remand in the case of demanding extortion from Dr. Ashok Mahajan was over, the Civil Line police arrived to present him in the court under heavy security on Wednesday.

But the police force that had gone to arrest the Jaggu gangster failed. After being produced in court, Civil Lines station in-charge Amolakdeep Singh got gangster Jaggu locked up in the Central Jail Fatehpur under heavy security.

The police of Civil Line Station arrested Jaggu from the Mohali Court on September 22 and sent him to Amritsar for transit remand. After reversing the accused in court for a long time, the judiciary has sent the accused to the police remand till September 28th.

On Wednesday, the remand for the Jaggu was completed. Police represented the criminal again in court. The police filed the case against Jaggu to ask for extortion from the doctor, Ashok Mahajan, for around Rs 1 crore, which he had filed in the last year.

On the other hand, even before Jaggu was produced in court, a police team from Tarn Taran reached out to arrest him in a case registered in Tarn Taran. But the court could not present any concrete facts regarding the arrest of gangster Jaggu, so the judge issued orders to send the accused to judicial custody for 14 days. After that, Inspector Amolakdeep Singh, in charge of Civil Line Police Station, himself came to get the accused locked up in the Central Jail amidst heavy security.
