On the occasion of the 115th birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, the district administration led by Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal organized various events urging people especially youth to come farward to serve the nation following the teachings of the great martyrs.
Mr Sarangal and SSP Mr Navneet Singh Bains who led the cycle rally in morning from DC chowk to Jalandhar road, said that it’s high time to realise the dreams of the personalities who made supreme sacrifices for the nation.
After the cycle rally, a contingent of Punjab police led by DSP Maninder Pal Singh paid ceremonial salute in the honour of saheed Bhagat singh at District administrative complex.Apart from this, the message given by Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann carrying an appeal to work in unison to materialise the dreams of our heroes, was also played.
On this occasion SP Angra ADC , SP. Harvinder Singh, SDM Lal Biswash Bains, Gurpal Singh Indian , Kanwar Iqbal Singh AAP leaders , Assistant Commissioner Upinderjit Kaur Brar and other officials also paid floral tributes to the great martyrs.
