Punjab EX-CM Amarinder Singh is going to join the BJP today. As per norms, it was revealed by him. The Punjab Lok Congress, which was founded by Ex-CM Amrinder Singh and their members is all set to join the BJP on 19 September.
Last year in September, Amarinder Singh quit as the CM of the state and was replaced by Charanjeet Singh Channi, who remained in the seat of CM of Punjab for 5 months.
As per resources, it is claimed that Singh will lead the Saffron Party with his party today along with 7 former MLAs. And one former MP, who joined the PLC, will be among others who will join the BJP on Monday.
Amrinder Singh recently returned from London on the last night following spinal surgery, met with the Home Minister and the Prime Minister on the last night, and has decided to join the BJP.

After the meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah, Singh said that he had a very productive discussion with the Home Miniter about national security, the future roadmap for the state's overall holistic development, and narco-terrorism.
Amrinder Singh will join the BJP in the presence of the BJP president JP Nadda. And he has said that the parties are all set to merge with the BJP. However, in the Punjab Legislative Assembly election, Congress lost the election by a huge margin, which happened in February.
