After recent transfers by the J&K General Administration department, Yasin M Choudhary (IAS) today took over as Managing Director (MD), Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL).After assumption of charge, the MD took the introductory review meeting with all Chief Engineers, Superintending Engineers and Divisional heads of KPDCL.
The MD was briefed regarding the Assets and Operational working of KPDCL. The progress regarding installation of Smart Meters was also reviewed.The MD directed all the Divisional Heads to gear up for winter preparedness and complete all the activities before onset of Winter.
Further, all the Divisional Heads were directed to complete all the CAPEX works as per schedule and increase the revenue realization to meet up the AT&C loss targets committed under RDSS.Further, the MD directed the Divisional Heads to conduct awareness camps in coordination with District Administration regarding the Amnesty Scheme launched by Govt. of J&K.
