To ensure that you enjoy the movie as much as possible in the theatres, we have avoided including any spoilers in our review. For a variety of reasons, we adored Yaar Mera Titliaan Warga, and we've detailed every aspect of the movie in this review.
Story
In the movie, Gippy Grewal (Gurmail) and Tanu Grewal (Beant) are married to each other. Though they have been married and have a kid named Sundi, they also tried to have another child. Both Gippy and Tanu are waiting for romance to blossom once again. Then Gurmail’s friend Karamjit Anmol helped him to explore the world, which led him to create a fake profile on social media. And on the other hand, Raj Dhaliwal (Shindo), who portrays the role of Tanu’s friend, assists her in keeping strict eyes on her husband. And then Tanu also decides to have fake accounts on dating apps and social media.
It's interesting that their bogus profiles end up matching, and they unintentionally keep chatting with each other. And from this point onward, it makes the film a hilarious roller coaster ride. The film’s story is simply a sweet and funny love story that will ensure to entertain you to the fullest.
Acting
Focusing on the acting performances of the lead pair of Yaar Mera Titliaan Warga, Gippy Grewal, and Tanu Grewal, they were outstanding in their roles and simply won our hearts. Tanu Grewal hasn’t made us feel that it’s her debut film. The Desi accent has really suited her and we must say that she has proved herself as an upcoming star in Pollywood. She is a great support for the film. And Gippy has given us many reasons to love him even more. He was the shining star and show stealer of the film.
Coming to Raj Dhaliwal, she was the backbone of Tanu. As she always teaches her and makes her commit to things that Tanu’s husband does. She even forced Tanu to make a fake ID on social media. Karamjit Anmol’s comic timing is the best we could see in Yaar Mera Titliaan Warga. Though he doesn't share much screen time, whenever he does, it convinces the audience.
Not to forget the child actor, Gurteg Singh, who played the role of Sundi in the film. The young actor astounded us with his very natural acting abilities. And it's clear that every single actor has made an impression on us because everyone has already demonstrated their talent.
Other than that, Dheeraj Kumar, Bhana LA, Raghveer Boli, Sara Gurpal, Sidhika Sharma, Kamayani Sharma, Aarushi Sharma, Naresh Kathooria, Sardar Sohi, Malkeet Rauni, Seema Kaushal, and other supporting actors shine out well on the silver screen.
Writing & Direction
Naresh Kathooria has always been the best when it comes to writing comedy films. The dialogues and story have wooed our hearts. Though the film is a little slow before the first half but after the interval, you will not even notice when it gets finished. The film is filled with love, drama, emotions, and messages. And from the debut director Vikas Vashisht, expect more films in the future. We also feel the need to highlight the praise-worthy work of the film’s art director. The concept and the bright theme they chose have made our eyes cheerful.
The movie has managed to tickle our funny bones with a novel concept, entertaining dialogues and applause-worthy performances! And the best scene is also shown in the trailer, which is the cremation scene. Well played by the artists who made us laugh at the serious situation.
Music
Now that we have reviewed Yaar Mera Titliaan Warga, let's move on to the music. We have always held the opinion that music enhances the overall mood and style of the movie tremendously. The songs are really amazing and lift the comic timings of the film. The colourful concept and upbeat songs are bliss to our ears and feet. However, there’s still one song left under the wraps that will definitely make you fall in love the day it's released.
Conclusion
Overall, the film has been very impactful and delivers a social message. It is definitely a must-watch film, and after a very long span of time, the makers have come up with a light and perfect comic concept. The film has a great and relatable story, but it showcases a true entertainer.
Team 5 Dariya News gives 4 out of 5 stars to Yaar Mera Titliaan Warga. It’s a must-watch family drama that will keep you glued to your seats till the end.
