RD S&LR visits Kupwara; reviews progress of digitization of land records

The Regional Director Survey & Land Records (RD-S&LR), Kamraz, Khursheed Ahmad Shah today visited Kupwara and convened a meeting of Revenue officers to review the progress of digitization of land records in the district.

 ADC Kupwara, Ghulam Nabi Bhat; ACR, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and other concerned attended the meeting. It was given out in the meeting that digitization of 217 Jamabandis have been completed so far out of the targeted 379 Jamabandis in the district.

 The Regional Director stressed upon the officers to ensure completion of digitization of all Jamabandis by ending September this year. He said that he will personally visit the Digitization Centres established in the district to verify the progress of work in the coming days.

 Earlier, the Regional Director received feedback from the concerned officers about the status of the digitization process in the district.
