The Vice Chairperson, DDC, Irfan Manhas; DDC Member Kaprin Mehmooda and DDC Member Keller-I, Choudhary Fazal Ul Din today distributed 6 motorised tricycles under DDC Grants among specially abled beneficiaries of the district during a distribution camp organized by District Social Welfare Office at District Administrative Complex, here.
On the occasion, the DDC Vice Chairman, and DDC members in presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani and District Social Welfare Officer, Showkat Ahmad handed over keys of motorized tricycles to the beneficiaries of the district.
The distribution function was part of an initiative by the Department to achieve 100 percent saturation in distribution of motorized tricycles among the eligible beneficiaries.While interacting with media persons, VC DDC complimented the Social Welfare Department for organising the distribution camp for Specially Abled Persons.
