District Development Commissioner, Kathua Rahul Pandey today chaired a meeting to review the progress of development works taken up for creating AYUSH healthcare assets in different parts of the district.
The meeting was attended by ACR Kathua Sandeep Seointra, District Ayush Officer, Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) Div Kathua, Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) Div Basohli, Executive Engineer REW Kathua.A threadbare discussion was held on different issues like the physical status of projects, financial implications and other related issues.
The meeting was informed that 50 Bedded AYUSH Integrated Hospital is coming up at Mandli, Billawar on which the work is in full swing.The DC urged upon the executing agencies to speed up the ongoing works so that all the health assets taken up across the district shall be completed within stipulated timelines.
During the meeting, the DC laid stress on improvement of infrastructure of healthcare facilities and rationalisation of medical staff and sensitisation of staff to cater to the needs of patients.
