The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba today convened a meeting of district officers to review and finalize arrangements for Urs Mubarak Hazrat Qamar-Ud-Din Bukhari at Reshipora Saloora Ganderbal.

During the meeting, it was informed that 4-day urs mubarak shall start from 6th  September and the main congregation shall be held at Hazrat Qamar-ud-Din Bukhari Reshipora Saloora.After threadbare discussion, the meeting finalized the arrangements for power supply, adequate safe drinking water supply, medicare facilities, fire fighting measures, transport facilities for devotees, sanitation measures in and around the shrine and other related arrangements.

The ADC asked the Fire & Emergency department for deployment of fire tenders and the Health department was asked to deploy an ambulance with adequate emergency medicine and medical staff at the venue; Municipal Council Ganderbal was asked to ensure cleanliness at the shrine.

Similarly, the police and traffic officials were directed to ensure proper security and traffic regulations on routes leading to the shrine where large congregations are expected.The ARTO was directed to make proper transport and parking arrangements.

The meeting was attended by ACR Ganderbal, DFO Sindh Forest Division Ganderbal, EO Municipal Council Ganderbal, Executive Engineer R&B, Tehsildar Ganderbal and other concerned.
