Dr Bhagwat Karad minister of state for Finance government of India While addressing a press conference in BJP state Headquarter said Various meeting were taken with banks and PSU in state to serve himachal in a better manner.
He said that 4 rural areas are not connected with the banking structure , i have requested the Bank correspondents to stay for 4 hours a day in these villages. This will connect the villages to the banking system.
He said that 3500 street vendors are attached with government schemes under which they get 10000 to 50000 for their businesses this Registertration is less we will raise it soon.Himachal has 450000 Kisan credit card, we will state training camp for Societies in the villages which will again raise the numbers of these accounts.
He said we are focusing on Financial literacy of our people and through Nabard we will go to Village to Village to increase such literacy levels. We will provide 12 vans for 12 district for increasing financial literacy at block level.
He said we have started a drive for Bank accounts to all by 30 September and our focus will be on new voters.He said that the per capita income of Himachal is very good and by working in Animal husbandry and fisheries sectors this will increase.
He said that the Double engine in himachal is working for allround prosperity of the masses.In Times to come himachal will see golden days.He said that Suresh kashyap member of parliament has requested to open more branches in rural areas and we will do a survey to open such branches.
He said that No banks will be privatised there is no such agenda for the same.He said that we have started Jan Samarth App by which people can get loans online under which banks will approach you. The public do not have to go to the banks for same. BJP State President Suresh Kashyap and State General secretary trilok jamwal were also present.
