District Development Council today organised an impressive function at Mini secretariat building Doda to accord warm and affectionate send off to the outgoing Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Sharma.

The function was attended by Chairman District Development Council, Dhananter Singh Kotwal, Vice Chairman DDC, Sangeeta Rani Bhagat, besides Councillors.The outgoing DC was presented a Shawl and a bouquet on behalf of the Council as a token of gratitude and affection for his commitment and devotion to the public service.

Extending best wishes to the outgoing DC, the Chairman DDC and other Councillors said that he would be missed a lot by the District Development Council in particular and District as a whole for his dedication and for the time bound completion of each commitment.

While enlisting the major achievements of his tenure, the Chairman said that due to the efforts of District Administration, under his able guidance and supervision, the District Council and its Councillors discharged their duty effectively and stood first in UT in expenditure under District Capex. 

He further said that the outgoing DC was 24*7 accessible, not only to the Councillors and other public representatives, but to the general public of the district as well.The outgoing DC expressed regards to the District Development Council and the Chairman DDC in particular for their unconditional support to him during his tenure.
