After dropping the intriguing teaser, now the makers of Cuttputlli have released the trailer for the upcoming crime-thriller. For this journey of an investigative cop as he uses his zeal and experience to uncover a number of wrongdoings in Kasauli, superstar Akshay Kumar teams up with Rakul Preet Singh, Sargun Mehta, and Chandrachur Singh, among others.
In the trailer, Akshay plays a police officer pursuing a serial murderer who has killed three schoolgirls and is searching for his next victim in the sleepy hill town of Kasauli. In two days, Akshay and his team of police officers must track him down and put a stop to the killings. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Pooja Entertainment and directed by Ranjit M Tewari. Cuttputli unmasks the killer and solves the mystery using Arjan Sethi’s (Akshay Kumar) skills to understand the psyche of the murderer.

When speaking to Akshay Kumar about the film, he revealed that “It’s filled with enthralling twists and turns. I play an underdog investigation officer, Arjan Sethi who is on a trail to catch the psychopath killer whose motives are unpredictable and unclear. Here, revenge is an illusion and the last act of the movie is unthinkable and will take you by total surprise - and that’s what makes it unique!”
Sargun Mehta and Gurpreet Ghuggi will also be playing cops in Cuttputlli. Moreover, in the trailer also, we saw a courageous glimpse of both the Punjabi actors. On September 2nd, Cuttputlli will be made exclusively available on Disney+ Hotstar to all platform subscribers. Cuttputlli will only be available for US viewers to stream on Hulu.
