DDC Doda reviews physical, financial progress under District Capex, Area Development Plan

District Development Commissioner, Doda, Vikas Sharma, today chaired a meeting of key officials of different line departments including engineering wings here in Conference Hall of DC office to review the physical and financial progress of works approved under the regular annual District Capex Budget and Area Development Plan.

During the meeting, the DDC enquired about the estimation, tendering, allotment and completion of works, besides bills framed and submitted to the treasuries and expenditure incurred against the completed works. 

He also sought reasons for pendency of bills which have not been framed against the completed works/not submitted in the treasuries reverted by the REW.The DDC directed the ACD and XEN REW to closely supervise the progress at the level of BDOs and Engineering staff regrading estimates framed, works allotted, worked started, completed, total bills framed, submitted to treasuries, expenditure incurred, besides asked REW to submit the JE wise list and the number of works entrusted to them including the estimates framed and pendency, including the bills framed, submitted to treasuries and which are pending either in BDO offices/Treasuries beyond one week on priority basis.

The DDC directed the planning section to seek explanation from the BDOs who have yet not submitted the bills cleared to them by REW in their respective treasuries for expenditure, besides asked the REW to complete all the pending estimates within one week and after that to submit the list of JEs who failed to accomplish the task.

Further, the DDC directed the departments to also expedite the expenditure on the works pending from last year on war footing basis, besides asking them to closely monitor the progress of the works entrusted to them so that  the same are completed within the current working season.

The DDC has passed directions to RDD to convene meeting of all BDOs in order to review their performance work wise as per the format mentioned above, besides ADDC has also been asked to review the RDD sector by next week on priority and directed REW to share the expenditure report to DC office on daily basis.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Doda, SE Hydraulic, SE JPDCL, SE PWD, Ex Ens, DYSSO, AD Planning DC office, EO MC, CAO, BDO HQR Doda, besides other concerned officials.
