Six ITBP personnel were killed and over 32 injured on Tuesday when a bus they were travelling in met with an accident in the Pahalgam area of Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district.Police sources said a bus carrying ITBP personnel back after completion of their Amarnath Yatra duties met with an accident in the Chandanwari area of Pahalgam tehsil. 

"Six ITBP personnel have died in this accident and over 30 are injured. A massive relief and rescue operation is going on at the accident site," sources said.

Condition of 7 to 10 soldiers is critical

All the soldiers were returning from the duty of Amarnath Yatra, who were boarding the Jammu and Kashmir Police bus. Please tell me that all the soldiers in the bus are injured. All have been taken to the hospital.

The incident happened at 11 am. The injured soldiers have been taken to the hospital located in Anantnag for treatment.Dr. Syed Tariq, who treated the injured soldiers at GMC Hospital in Anantnag, said that about 30 patients have come and are being treated.

We and all our doctors are fully prepared. At the same time, the condition of 7 to 10 soldiers is said to be critical. Whereas if needed, the injured soldiers can also be taken out for treatment.
