Students across Udhampur Schools pledge to eradicate drug abuse

To educate the youth about the hazards of addiction and substance abuse, a pledge taking ceremony against drugs was today held in all government and private schools across District Udhampur.The heads of institutions administered pledge to the students and exhorted them to spread the message among their peers against the menace of drugs.

Counseling cells of schools were also directed to activate the PRAHARI clubs in the schools to keep eye on any such activities within the school premises and promote the “ SAY NO TO DRUGs” campaign among the students and also follow all the TOEFI guidelines.

Photographs and videos of the pledge/Oath taken by students were shared on the social media platforms to spread the message.Chief Education Officer, Arvin Kumar Koul also took pledge with students and staff of government and private schools invited in the premises of HSS BOYS Udhampur.
