Deputy Commissioner Jaspreet Singh on Tuesday directed concerned authorities to encourage maximum beneficiaries towards dairy, fisheries & other allied farming activities, which could be started easily with a cover of subsidy.

Giving instructions to the officials, the Deputy Commissioner said that a detailed plan should also be chalked out for extension of existing units being run by progressive farmers. The Deputy Commissioner also directed to expedite the process for finalisation of fisheries action plan for 2022-23 as there were over 90 ponds were being run by the individual farmers.
