What is Bambiha Gang?
Davinder Bambiha, whose real name was Davinder Singh Sidhu, was the leader of the Bambiha gang. He was a well-known shooter and kabaddi player from the Punjabi town of Bambiha Bhai. Bambiha was detained and imprisoned in the village in 2010 while earning an arts degree. When he was 21 years old, he broke out of jail, started a gang, and in 2012, he was one of Punjab's most wanted offenders.
It was reported that he was implicated in multiple murder investigations, engaged in theft and looting, and even dared the Punjab Police by writing about his criminal behaviour on Facebook. The group operated an extortion ring in Panchkula, Mohali, and Chandigarh. At the age of 26, Davinder Bambiha was slain in a confrontation in the Bhatinda area in September 2016.
