DC Kupwara Khalid Jahangir reviews status of JK-IGRAMS grievance disposal

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the status of disposal of JKIGRAMS grievances in the district. It was informed in the meeting that a total of 4950 grievances pertaining to different departments have been received in the district. 

Out of which 4769 have been resolved and disposed-off so far. Besides, 199 grievances are currently under progress for resolution.On the occasion, the DC stressed upon the officers to ensure timely and quality disposal of the grievances so that good governance prevails on the ground.

He directed the officers to be proactive in resolving the grievances on priority basis adding that deficiency if any found on part of any officer regarding timely disposal of the grievances shall be viewed seriously.ADDC Kupwara (Nodal Officer Grievance Cell Kupwara), Altaf Ahmad Khan; ASP Kupwara, ACR, DSP Handwara, Executive Engineers of different wings and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
