It has come to light that after the death of Sidhu Moosewala, the now famous and prolific Punjabi lyricist, Jaani, has received death threats. Jaani's family has left the country, and now the lyricist has written a letter to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann seeking protection. The singer says that he is receiving death threats because of this issue they are leaving Punjab.
Talking to the news portal, Jaani's manager, Dilraj Singh, confirmed that he has sought security from Punjab Police and that Jaani should be given security. This letter was sent by Jaani to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, ADGP (Security) Punjab Police and Mohali SSP. In the letter, Jaani penned down that he has been working for the Punjabi film industry and music industry for many years.
The letter reads, that Jaani and his manager, Dilraj Singh Nanda, had received threat calls so many times from gangsters, anti-social elements, etc, and the same matter was also with higher authorities.

In this letter, Jaani has also mentioned the death of Sidhu Moosewala. He said, sometimes he has to go out shooting. It is very difficult to go out in such a situation. As Sidhu Moosewala was brutally murdered in daylight. So, it is a very threatening situation.
So, an alert and efficient security only can prevent the possibility of such danger penetrating security cover. Therefore, lyricist Jaani along with his manager requested the CM of Punjabi to take actions regarding the same.
Apparently, he is not the first artist who has received threatening calls. Bollywood artists have become prey to the same. Salman Khan has also made headlines for the same.
Meanwhile, Jaani recently met with an accident in Mohali, Punjab. After getting discharged from the hospital, he told fans that he, along with the two others travelling with him, was now doing better and had been discharged from the hospital. Not only this, he also expressed that he saw both death and God together. It’s great that the artist is doing well now.
Hope they take strict action and Jaani and his family are safe and get back to their native country soon.
