Now, speaking more about the film, Chhalla Mud Ke Nahi Aaya is an enterprising movie in terms of its range, and it is laudable that it tried to tell the story of this historical conflict.
There are a number of things to commend. Through sets, costumes, and production design, much effort has been made to accurately depict the historical era. The humour is enjoyable, the conversation sharp, and the workers' friendship endearing. Even a social message in support of gender equality and rights is woven throughout.
