District Development Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today chaired a meeting of key functionaries of developmental departments to review their performance under District Capex regular component as well as under Area Development Plan.
The DDC enquired about the updated status in detail with regard to tendering of works, works allotted, estimation of approved works, started works on the ground, status of billing, and progress on non construction works.
The DDC directed the concerned controlling as well executing agencies to pace up the completion of all ongoing works and book expenditure against all the completed works immediately.
While reviewing the progress of works under the UT component entrusted to PWD, the DDC directed them to revisit the estimates and rationalize the same as per the plan provision. Besides, ACD and SEs were directed to take strict action against the officials showing laxity in estimation and billing process.
With regard to the status of Non construction works approved under District Capex under different heads, the DDC directed the concerned to expedite and complete the process in one week so that the required material was received and installed in the identified areas.
The meeting was attended by SE PWD, SE Hydraulics, CPO Doda, ACD Doda, Ex En REW, AD Planning DC office, and other concerned officials.
