Digital week Day-2: 160 Beneficiaries get online service at Digi Mela Kupwara

On the second consecutive day of celebration of Digi Mela, a large number of people visited the stalls established by various departments at Government Degree College Kupwara, here and applied for online services.

The Revenue Department provided online service  to 160 beneficiaries. As per data,  140 domicile certificates,  16 income certificates,  4 unemployment certificates, 55 land pass books and 10 revenue extracts were issued on spot through online mode.

Other departments also provided online services during the camp.As many as 15 persons were imparted training regarding use of online services.135 Golden Cards were issued by Health Department Kupwara at the Digi mela.

Meanwhile, students in different colleges in Kupwara, Handwara and Langate held painting competitions on the subject under the banner Digital Week Celebration.The Deputy Commissioner Kupwara asked all concerned departments to provide data regarding achievement to his office on a daily basis.
