The Digital J&K Week celebrations continued on the 2nd consecutive day today across Budgam district with hundreds of beneficiaries availing online services throughout the day.On the occasion, locals continued to throng stalls set up by as many as 23 different departments at Sheikh-ul-Alam Hall where Digi-Mela is being held, all SDM and Tehsil headquarters, Model CSCs, Municipalities and schools where concerned engaged participants in awareness generation of over 200 online services launched by the Government.

Programme Officer (PO), ICDS Budgam, Irshad Ahmad distributed disability certificates among scores of specially-abled persons during Digi-Mela at Sheikh-ul-Alam Hall, where awareness about online services was disseminated among hundreds of PRIs and students.

The Digi- Mela is being organised in wake of the "Digital J&K Week" celebrations being observed from July 25 to July 31 across the district.The week is celebrated for the benefit of the public and to increase transparency in service delivery to the people. 

Up to 202 online services have been connected to Rapid Assessment Services (RAS), which allows beneficiaries to evaluate the services provided by the departments.Meanwhile, beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Government and District Administration Budgam for providing online services terming them as time saving, hassle-free and prompt.

The District Administration Budgam appealed to the citizens of Budgam to join these celebrations for availing online services and receive awareness about the services.
