District Development Council Chairman Doda, Dhananter Singh Kotwal, along with DDC Vice Chairperson Sangeeta Rani, BDC Chairpersons and DDC Councillors, today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of Agriculture and allied Sectors.

The Chairman reviewed the performance of Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Apiculture, Fisheries, and Soil Conservation departments.The Chairman asked for paying focused attention on promotion of Agriculture and allied sectors, which he said was the main economic activity in the rural area and requires collaboration at all levels. He asked the concerned departments to work in a team to achieve the desired results.

Discussions in detail were held about achievements, difficulties and bottlenecks in different sectors. The DDC urged the officers to introduce modern technology in the agriculture sector.The meeting was attended by ADC Doda, CAO Doda, CHO Doda, District Sericulture Officer Doda, and other concerned officers/ officials.
