One of the most loved and anticipated sequels, Pushpa 2, has always made headlines for some reason or the other. This time the film came to the headlines for its new star cast. There has been a lot of news that Manoj Bajpayee would play the role of a cop in this upcoming movie. The rumours have broken the internet like a storm, but now The Family Man star Manoj breaks the silence and speaks on the subject.

The film, which stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles, has garnered immense love from fans and critics alike. The film has been a blockbuster at the box office. While asking Manoja about working on such a successful film, he said, "कहाँ कहाँ से समाचार लातें हैं आप लोग? (From where do you guys get such news?)"
Meanwhile, during an interaction with a publication, the Gangs Of Wasseypur actor said that there is no truth in this report. He was quoted saying by News18, "No truth! False news! That’s all I can say!"
Allu Arjun will again be seen as Pushpa Raj and Rashmika as Srivalli in Pushpa 2. According to rumours, the upcoming movie would centre on Pushpa's animosity towards SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat of Fahadh. He appeared in the first movie, but it is rumoured that he will have a bigger role in the follow-up. The shoot was scheduled to begin as soon as Pushpa was released, but the producers changed the screenplay in order to improve the fan experience.

Returning to Manoj Bajpayee, season 2 of the web series The Family Man on Amazon Prime Video was his most recent appearance. He most recently appeared in the film Silence... After that, he will appear in Despatch, the Netflix web series Soup, season three of The Family Man, and the upcoming film Gulmohar with Sharmila Tagore, Amol Palekar, Simran Rishi Bagga, and Suraj Sharma.
