Pushpa 2
Pushpa: The Rise was popular with the general public and is still having the same craze. Also, the film went on to become a box office storm. Fans are now eagerly anticipating the film's sequel as the trailer is released. Sukumar, the film's director, has announced that the sequel will begin filming soon and will be released in theatres. Fans are anxiously anticipating Pushpa: The Rule, the follow-up film.
Tiger 3
Salman Khan had begun shooting for the Tiger franchise’s third film in 2021. After the second Covid wave, the set was dissolved in Mumbai and the shooting has not begun yet. It will introduce Emraan Hashmi as the villain. The first two parts are record-breaking successes and now for this Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are back in this third instalment of the popular spy series, this time directed by Maneesh Sharma. This is anticipated to be the biggest yet in the franchise, being shot all over the globe and featuring Emraan Hashmi as the main villain. After some forgettable films over the past few years, Salman needs a big hit that not only brings the numbers but also critical acclaim as well.
War 2
Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff delivered the year's biggest blockbuster, War, in 2019. Two years later, director Siddharth Anand has confirmed that he is all set to begin the production of its sequel next year. The movie made a thunderous buzz at the box office and there was no way the studio would not have juiced out such a lucrative franchise.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2
The first part of Bajrangi Bhaijaan directed by Kabir Khan follows Salman Khan as a simple-minded Hanuman devotee, Pawan, who crosses paths with a mute girl, Munni, from Pakistan after she strays accidentally into India. The story of the much-loved blockbuster revolves around Pawan’s, also known as Bajrangi, attempts to unite the child, played by Harshali Malhotra, with her parents across the border. Now, after the announcement of its sequel, fans are anxiously waiting for more information to be out.
Dhoom 4
The Dhoom series has always managed to engage its audience. The franchise just gets bigger and better with each sequel. Now, after the makers announced its 4th installments fans couldn't keep calm for the film to be released. But the cast and other details of the movie are yet to be confirmed.
Khuda Haafiz 2
‘Khuda Haafiz: Chapter II - Agni Pariksha’, starring Vidyut Jammwal, is slated to be released in theatres on June 17. A follow-up to the 2020 action-thriller ‘Khuda Haafiz’, the upcoming movie is written and directed by Faruk Kabir who penned and helmed the first film in the franchise as well.
Krrish 4
Rakesh Roshan directed the ‘Krrish’ franchise is something that we can’t imagine without Hrithik Roshan. It is considered the first Indian superhero film series. After 3 successful installments, Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan are going to bring the 4th installment of the series, named ‘Krrish 4’. The release date has not been scheduled yet.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2
Following the massive success of the 2007 horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa, it was only a matter of time before a sequel was announced. Surprisingly, though, Kartik Aryan will star in the movie instead of Akshay Kumar in lead. Alongside Kartik, Kiara Advani and Tabu will be supporting him on the screen. The film is scheduled to release on 20 May 2022!
OMG 2
Amit Rai directs this spiritual sequel to the successful film Oh My God. Akshay Kumar returns in this sequel in the role of God, except this time he plays Lord Shiva, after having played Lord Vishnu in the first film. Paresh Rawal is not in the film this time, but the multitalented Pankaj Tripathi has been cast.
