Sidhu Moosewala's father recently visited Amritsar civil hospital to identify two gangsters who had allegedly shot the singer dead. Moosewala's father Balkaur Singh along with Sidhu's two friends, visited the hospital. On May 29, six attackers, including two gangsters, shot and killed Moosewala in the village of Jawaharke in the Mansa District. In addition to Balkaur, Moosewala's friends who were with him and were hurt were contacted to identify the defendant.
“It’s a good job done by Punjab Police and such actions should continue. This is just a start. It is a long battle. With the killing of these two persons, my son will not return,” said Balkaur Singh after identifying the bodies.

Assistant commissioner of police (ACP) Gurpartap Singh Sahota said Moosewala’s father was called to Amritsar for the identification of the accused. And while reaching there it has been reported that tight security is in place at the civil hospital.
Meanwhile, speaking of the deceased gangsters, named Jagroop Singh, aka Roopa, and Manpreet Singh, aka Manu Kusa, were killed after a heavy fire exchange with Punjab police personnel. They hid in a building left in Hoshiar Nagar Village, 14 km from the Indian-Pakistan border, on Wednesday. Roopa and Mannu were killed in the operation that lasted for around five hours and ended at around 4 pm.
