District Development Commissioner, Ramban Mussarat Islam today reviewed the functioning of One Stop Centre here at a meeting of convened a meeting of the District Level Task Force Committee.DDC Councillor, Renuka Katoch; Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohita Sharma; CMO, Dr. Kamal Zadoo; DSWO, Rahul Gupta; CDPO, Ravinder Kour and other committee members attended the meeting.
The meeting was informed that MSK are playing a vital role in addressing the grievances of women across the board and extending them necessary guidance and assistance on a range of women centric issues. On the occasion, the DDC stressed upon all the stakeholders to work in coordination for the successful functioning of the Centre. He assured all possible support to make these Centres more effective and vibrant.
“The idea behind the scheme is to create an environment for women/ girls to grow and achieve new milestones in every possible sector”, he added.Meanwhile, the SSP suggested various measures for smooth functioning of MSK. She stressed on providing useful counselling and timely legal assistance to the applicant women.
