Accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori, The Deputy Director General asked the officials to speed up the Aadhaar enrolment in the district. She said that more Aadhaar enrolment kits must be made operational in Aaganwari centres and schools so that population below 18 years could be covered expeditiously while mentioning that a total  of 177 Aadhaar enrolment centres were functional in district.

Garg emphasized the need for updating mandatory biometrics (MBUs), the fingerprints and iris scan of children after they attained the age of 5 and 15 years. She said that for any demographic updation such as update /correction in Name, Date of Birth, Gender and Address, charges are Rs 50 and for biometric update i.e. update in photograph or updating iris or fingerprints in Aadhaar, charges are Rs 100.  In case of overcharging, residents can lodge grievance at toll free number 1947.
