Punjabi lyricist, singer, and politician Sidhu Mooseewala who died on 29 May 2022 left everyone in a state of shock. His family, friends and the industry expressed their grief over the death of their beloved artist. Many celebrities and music companies came up with songs and projects paying a tribute to the late actor.
There were controversies also related to these projects as Sidhu’s fans did not appreciate people using his name for publicity or anyone's personal benefit. Now, after around 5 days after his death, his family has released a statement requesting everyone to not release any finished or unfinished project without his father Balkaur Singh’s consent.

From Sidhu’s official account a thread of stories has been uploaded. These are of his Antim Bhog date and some are of his finished & unfinished projects. Sidhu’s father urges all the music producers to not release any project and should submit it after 8 June. Singh also penned that if any of the tracks would be leaked then strict action would be taken against him/her. All data should be handed over to Sidhu's father, Balkaur Singh, after the Antim Bhog.
